With nearly three decades of experience in technology delivery and leadership, Sean Hederman has been instrumental in shaping Zilch’s technological evolution as its Chief Technology Officer. Before joining Zilch, Sean held senior roles in technology and DevOps at leading organizations, gaining extensive expertise in building and scaling enterprise-grade systems.

At Zilch, Sean led the design and development of the company’s foundational technology and platforms, ensuring they could support rapid global growth while maintaining top-tier customer security. Under his leadership, the technology team has grown from a handful of individuals to over 120 specialists across Technology, Security, Engineering, Data, and Product, operating across four regions.

Based in London and originally from South Africa, Sean is a recognised thought leader in AI and an expert in software engineering, architecture and DevSecOps. His work focuses on building resilient, mission-critical systems that meet stringent standards for performance, security, and compliance, driving Zilch’s continued innovation and success.
