Working with Philip as one of the first three members of Zilch, Rakesh has served as Chief Operating Officer since the company’s inception. With over 30 years of experience across Financial Services, Retail, CPG, FMCG, and Manufacturing, his diverse expertise has been instrumental in driving Zilch’s growth and success.

Rakesh oversees a broad range of critical functions, including Customer Success, Fraud Prevention, KYC Compliance, Collections, and People & Talent. His primary objective is to ensure strategic alignment across the organisation, driving operational efficiency and seamless execution in all areas. Through a multifaceted and strategic approach, Rakesh ensures that every component of Zilch functions cohesively and effectively.

Beyond his role at Zilch, Rakesh is a recognised software technology entrepreneur, with extensive experience supporting startups and technology firms entering the UK market from overseas. His exceptional contributions to the industry were honoured in 2017 when he received the prestigious Tech Entrepreneur of the Year award from Asian Business.
