Albert "Al" Periu is the CEO of Zilch USA, spearheading the mission to revolutionise the way consumers access affordable, responsible credit. With unwavering dedication to empowering customers, Al believes Zilch is poised to create the world's most transformative payment solution, which will eliminate the cost of consumer credit for good.

After seamlessly integrating his venture backed FinTech lender, NepFin, into the Zilch ecosystem in 2021, Al now leads as the CEO of Zilch USA, Inc. In this role, he is responsible for managing all aspects of Zilch USA's operations, including shaping the company's organisational framework, crafting strategic initiatives, and ensuring a commitment to customer-centricity in all endeavours.

Al brings extensive experience in the financial sector. Prior to Zilch, he played a key role at Funding Circle, a global online marketplace for commercial loans, where he excelled as the Global Co-Head of Capital Markets and served as President of the company's broker-dealer affiliate, Funding Circle Securities. Al's proficiency in private and public debt, and equity transactions was honed through roles at FBR & Co., Merrill Lynch, and Deutsche Bank.

Al holds a BS in Finance and International Business from Georgetown University.
